SY & Vie Amazonia Clutch

The Amazonia Clutch is the most immersive piece in the collection. A dense canopy of moss and lichen greens is built up by hand across the front panel, opening onto a dark hollow where a single white bloom appears - the whole thing held like a vitrine inside an emerald frame with a softly puffed handle and small gilded fittings. It is SY & Vie's Assemblage technique at full volume: forgotten fragments of nature, composed into a landscape and given a second life.

Every SY & Vie bag takes more than 140 hours to reach your hands. Each one is composed, shaped and finished by hand in the atelier using heritage techniques - woodcarving, wood inlay and Sylvie Quartara's signature Assemblage method - so no two pieces are ever quite alike. No two forests, either.
