SY & Vie Forest Clutch

The Forest Clutch is a miniature woodland, preserved. Gnarled branches rise from a bed of moss, leaves unfurl between them in silk, and a few tendrils spill over the edge of the caramel frame as if the piece were still growing. It is SY & Vie's Assemblage technique at its most literal: forgotten fragments of nature, composed by hand into a landscape and set behind a clear panel, finished with a sculptural transparent handle and a crossbody strap.

Every SY & Vie bag takes more than 140 hours to reach your hands. Each one is carved, shaped and finished by hand in the atelier using heritage techniques - woodcarving, wood inlay and Sylvie Quartara's signature Assemblage method - so no two pieces are ever quite alike. Here, that means no two forests are alike either.
